evaplan at the University Hospital, Heidelberg is a consulting group that undertakes advisory missions and engages in operational research and project implementation as well as curriculum development, in the field of international health. Our key technical areas include health system strengthening, health financing and social protection, sexual/reproductive health & rights, and HIV&AIDS.
evaplan is currently seeking a full-time Senior Project Manager in Health Systems Development with a focus on sexual and reproductive health to complement its team in Heidelberg.
Experience is sought in the following areas:
• Business development, networking and project acquisition - Strategic business development/business acquisition - Building strategic alliances/partnerships - Organisation development, product development and quality assurance
• Project Management and backstopping - Backstopping projects - Ensuring compliance with project/donor requirements - Liaison between expert and financial/contractual department - Writing/editing technical documents
The successful candidate will offer the following:
• At least 10 years experience in International Health, with 5 years minimum recent experience in low and middle income countries • Proven track record in project management • Experience in organisational processes and strategic business development • Experience in writing and editing technical documents • Team player and ability to work in multi-cultural teams • Excellent language skills in English and German as well as a good command of French • Willingness to travel
Master’s degree in public health or business administration, degree in health science, economics, social sciences, medicine or equivalent. Salary commensurate with experience. Initial contract of 2 years with possibility for permanent contract and membership in executive board.
