Assistant Manager IT , BRAC Tanzania

1. ASSISTANT IT MANAGER
• Management of ERP Systems Implementation and Overseeing its Implementation
• Overseeing all Technology Services, Product analysis and Software Architecture activities of Brac International
• Serve as main point of contact on all IT-related
• Defining and monitoring the I.T process.
• Coordinate implementation of new systems, in particular, hardware and software
• Ensuring the smooth running of all ICT systems, including anti-virus software, print services and email provision
• Coordinate with service providers to ensure proper service delivery to the organization.
• Ensuring the security of data from internal and external attack
• Managing crisis situations, which may involve complex technical hardware or software problems by resolving or escalating issues in a timely fashion.
• Advise management during acquisition of new systems and assets related to I.T
• Recommending information technology strategies, policies, and procedures by evaluating organization outcomes, identifying problems; evaluating trends; anticipating requirements.
• Data base and network administration.
• Documenting current procedures and operating methods.
• Analysis of documents and reports.
• Making backup copies of all data base end transaction logs regularly.
• Making checks and services for the computers when necessary to improve performance.
• Assessing computer hardware application system and software development.
• Monitoring all activities related to networks, databases, Operating systems and hardware maintenance.
• Develop and Manage IT Policy and Procedure including IT related Budget

EXPERIENCES AND REQUIREMENTS
• Bachelor degree in Computer science or related subject experience
• Knowledge of It Governance , Security and assurance Policy
• Practical experience in developing web application in JAVA/ASP.net, Oracle /SQL , Server , My SQL, understating Linux Operating system and server Management.
• Strong understanding of data center Management and Business Intelligence
• Implementing ERP Solutions like SAP would be Given Preference Must be fluent in both Spoken and written English.
• Good interpersonal Skills and ability to work in highly coordinative roles and cross cultural team
