The World Food Programme is the world's largest humanitarian agency, fighting hunger worldwide. We are currently seeking to fill an internship in the Individual Performance Strengthening Branch of the Human Resources Division. The position will be based at our Headquarters in Rome, Italy and will be for a period of four months starting as soon as possible.
Within the Human Resources Division, the Individual Performance Strengthening Branch is a key partner in the achievement of WFP's strategic objectives. This branch focuses on strategies and tools that support the alignment, engagement and performance management of the staff in the organization.
In order to enhance the service provided to a highly diverse global workforce, working in very challenging contexts, the Individual Performance Strengthening Branch is revising the tools and support mechanisms available for Staff Members and Supervisors in this area.
Description
The selected candidate will be working in a project team within the WFP Individual Performance Strengthening Branch and assisting with the following key duties:
Additionally, the selected candidate will be required to assist with some of the other duties of the department which are related to Performance Management.
