7.1 Qualification:
Holder of Diploma in Laboratory Technician.
7.2 Experience:
At least 3 years working experience in a reputable work place/institution/Laboratory.
7.3 Key Responsibilities:
Coordinate all Laboratory activities.
To do Laboratory activities.
To supervise the work of Laboratory technician.
To write the monthly, quarterly and annual reports.
To do other activities as directed by the supervisor
LABORATORY Technician II (1 POST)
6.1 Qualification:
Holder of Diploma in Laboratory Technician.
6.2 Key Responsibilities:
To supervise duties of lob. Attendant.
To keep the records of Lab. Activities.
To maintain the lab. Ledgers and all books containing the information concerning Lab. facilities of equipment.
To collect samples for disease diagnosis from the field for preparation storage analysis and sent to the referral Laboratory.
To make sure that all reagents. chemicals. materials are available at a time when required.
To write the monthly. forequarter and annually reports.
Any other duties as may be assigned by Senior Laboratory Technician.
AUTO ELECTRICIAN (2 POSTS)
5.1 Qualifications:
Minimum Form IV; NVTC/VETA Trade Test Grode/Levell or equivalent in Auto Bectrical/Bectronics.
Possession of computer skills and computerized knowledge on faults diagnosis and troubleshooting equipment.
5.2 Experience:
At least 5 years working experience in Auto Electrical/Electronic combined repairs and maintenance of vehicles in a reputable workshop.
Ability to trace Auto Electric/electronic systems faults.
Ability to work under minimal supervision.
5.3 Key Responsibility/Duties:
Reports to Technicians or Workshop supervisor/engineer.
Assist Senior Technicians and Technicians in the execution of assignments.
Undertake general repair and maintenance works of vehicles and plants pertaining to electrical and electronic systems.
Maintain vehicle records pertaining service and repair.
Ensure smooth and safe operation of workshop machines /equipment and tools.
Ensure industrial and workshop safety regulations.
Ensure daily routine activities are accomplished as assigned.
Advise superiors pertaining to electrical/electronic technical matters.
Any other duties as may be assigned to by the supervisors.
SENIOR AUTOMOTIVE TECHNICIAN (2 POSTS)
1.1. Qualifications:
Holder of Full Technician certificate in Automotive Engineering or equivalent.
1.2. Experience:
At least 3 years working experience in repairi maintenance of light vehicle such as land-cruisers; land rovers and Heavy trucks/Scania: Isuzu; FAW; Benz; TATA.
Possession of computer skills and knowledge of faults diagnosis and troubleshooting equipments.
1.3 Key Responsibility/Duties:
Reports to Workshop supervisor/engineer.
Assist Supervisor/ Engineer in the execution of their duties.
Do inspection and testing of vehicles and carry out preventive maintenance as required.
Undertake general repair and maintenance works of vehicles and plants pertaining to rebuilding of engines; gearboxes;
transmissions and mechanical systems.
Maintain vehicle records; service and repair costs.
Ensure smooth and safe operation of workshop machines; equipment and tools.
Ensure industrial and workshop safety regulations.
Assign duties to Assistant Technicians and subordinates.
Ensure daily routine activities ore accomplished as planned
Advise superiors pertaining to technical matter.
Any other duties as may be assigned by the supervisors.
SENIOR HEAVY PLANT TECHNICIAN – ( 1 POST)
2.1 Qualification:
Holder of Full Technician certificate in Automotive Engineering or equivalent.
2.2 Experience:
At least 5 years working experience in repair/maintenance of Heavy equipments such as Bulldozers; Motor graders; Wheel Loader; excavators and compactors.
Possession of computer skills and knowtedge of faults diagnosis and troubleshooting equipment.
2.3 Key ResponslbiliHes/Duffes:
Reports to. Workshop supervisor/engineer.
Assist Supervisor/engineer in the execution of their duties.
Do inspection and testing of plant and equipment and carry out preventive maintenance as required.
Undertake general repair and maintenance works of vehicles and plants pertaining to rebuild engine; transmissions and mechanical systems.
Ensure industrial and workshop safety regulations.
Assign duties to Assistant Technicians and subordinates.
Ensure daily routine activities are accomplished as planned.

ASSISTANT TECHNICIAN/MECHANICS
Qualifications:
Minimum Form IV; NVTC/VETA Trade Test Grade/Levell or equivalent in Automobiles/Motor mechanics.
3.2 Experience:
At least 3 years working experience in repair and maintenance of vehicles in a reputable workshop.
Ability to work under minimal supervision.
3.3 Key Responsibilities/Duffes:
Reports to Technicians.
Assist Senior Technicians and Technicians in the execution of assignments.
Undertake general repair and maintenance works of vehicles and plants pertaining rebuilding engines; transmissions and mechanical systems under supervision of Senior Technicians,
Maintain vehicle records pertaining service and repair.
Ensure smooth and safe operation of workshop machines/ equipment and proper use of tools.
Ensure industrial and workshop safety regulations.
Ensure daily routine activities ore accomplished as assigned,
Advise superiors pertaining to technical matters.
Any other duties as May assigned to him/her by the supervisors
WELDER/FABRICATION TECHNICIAN – ( 1 POST)
4.1 Qualification:
Minimum Form IV; NVTC/VETA Trade Test Grade/Levell or equivalent in welding and fabrications.
4.2 Experience:
At least 5 years work:ing experience in welding repair and maintenance of vehicles in reputable workshop such as body and chassis.
Ability to design and fabricate various welded and reinforced structures.
Ability to work: under minimal supervision and use gas. electric arc. TIG. MIG welders. Plasma systems.
4.3 Key Responsibilities/Duffes:
Reports to Senior Technicians or Workshop Supervisor/Engineer.
Assist Senior Technicians and Technicians in the execution of assignments.
Undertake general repair and maintenance works of vehicles and plants pertaining to welding and fabrications.
Maintain vehicle records pertaining to his work.
Ensure smooth and safe operation of workshop machines/ equipment and proper use of tools.
Ensure industrial and workshop safety regUlations.
Ensure daily routine activities are accomplished as assigned.
Advise superiors pertaining welding and fabrication technical matter.
Any other duties as may assigned to him/her by the supervisors.
