Main Purpose of Position:
The implementation and management of technology operations across the Africa region with a focus on developing standard operating procedures and growing the technology business and presence in the region.
Role Responsibility:
Design, co-ordinate and implementation of standard operating procedures
- Research and collate best practice SOP for technology operations across multiple product lines
- Liaise with subject matter experts and stakeholders to design and formalize SOPs
- Co-ordinate within business unit implementation plans on SOPs, operating standards and project plans to ensure successful implementation
- Review and refine SOPs in line with market adjustments and global trends to ensure competitive advantage
- Foster and build relationships with internal and external stakeholders on developing technology and standards, with an aim to implement across the region
- Review and develop implementation plans in support of Regional strategy
Oversight and functional management of SMR business within the Region
- Design and implement operational policy with standards and procedures for region focusing on secure monitoring and response effective and standards
- Ensure standards are aligned to industry best practice (global, regional and local)
- Undertake Annual/Bi-annual audits on process and standard compliance
- Liaise and recommend best practice on financial controls associated with business unit
- Develop and implement Quality Management/Ops Process management – to ensure adherence to quality standard
- Drive Shared Best Practice
- Monitor from a functional reporting line the development and performance of SMR business across the region
- Implement controls and reviews appropriate to driving financial performance
The provision and management of Customer Satisfaction for all regional technology customers
- Develop and Maintain internal relationships in order to foster close working relationships with; Cash, Guarding and other G4S internal clients – to promote solutions driven business growth;
- Develop and Maintain external relationships in order to foster close working relationships with all Key customers and potential new customers.
- Monitor and review customer satisfaction levels across the Region
- Address escalated issues relating to customers, and oversee projects to rectify and addrss.
- Drive sound customer relationships and service levels within the Region
Effective management of business development function
New business development
- Identifying new business opportunities in the Region’s sphere of operations, as well as in terms of growth of business with existing customers, driven by the promotion of integrated security solutions.

The Ideal Candidate:
Knowledge
- Broad knowledge of Security Industry
- Broad knowledge of ESS products (must include Time & Attendance)
- Practical installation experience
- Expert Product knowledge in at least one key area
- Knowledge of software development

Minimum qualification
