Position Overview
Big data is making headlines, but demonstrating its efficacy in boosting profits and improving impact has been elusive. Living Goods is entering a period of rapid growth and we are looking for someone to analyze our vital financial and social impact data to drive superior strategy and results. At LG we drive management decisions with quality field data. We collect extensive data on product sales, mobile marketing, and household health. The ideal candidate will bring a blended background of strong private and social sector experience that aligns with our mission. We are particularly looking for candidates with rock solid data / financial analysis skills and strong relational database know how. Experience in measurement and evaluation in the social sector is a plus.

Responsibilities
- Data Systems Management: Oversee design and development of Living Good’s data warehouse incorporating sales, health and mobile marketing data.
- Reporting and Analysis: Generate key management reports to drive strategy, decision-making and improvements to Living Goods’ impact and profitability.
- Research / M&E: Advise and support LG’s overall measurement and evaluation strategy. Design, implement, and coordinate high quality research to support strategy, market research, operations research, and impact evaluation.
- Data Collection: Ensure consistent accurate collection of data from diverse sources
Qualifications
- Master’s degree in MIS/IT, business, math, social sciences, or statistics preferred.
- Must be MS Excel expert user.
- Significant experience with data software: e.g., Relational databases, MS Access, STATA, SQL, SPSS. Well versed in data analysis methods and statistics including regression analysis, pivot tables, and cluster analysis, etc.
- Experience designing research studies including customers surveys, randomized trials, etc.
