Mozambique Logistics Advisor

PSI Mozambique is looking for a Logistics Advisor for a period of six months, to be based in Maputo with frequent travel to provinces, tasked with the development of an efficient supply chain for all PSI’s operations in Mozambique. Specifically, the Advisor will:

Evaluate and improve all systems related to the quality, quantity, cost and efficiency of the movement and storage of goods within PSI’s supply chain in Mozambique; Develop systems, processes and instruments that will facilitate the movement of goods within PSI’s supply chain, as well as improving the order cycle, monitoring, tracking, control within the supply chain; Develop and implement processes that ensure continuous analysing of data to monitor and evaluate performance; Evaluate staff resources needed and develop a solid logistics structure within PSI; Ensure that relevant staff members are adequately trained; Understand and implement health and safety procedures related to warehousing and transportation of special goods such as medical equipment; Recommend and implement better warehousing and movement techniques/ systems;
