Objective:
To manage Site Acquisition team for projects as well as for operational issues.
Main Responsibilities:
· Manage Site Acquisition team nationwide for all project related activities (including but not limited to acquisition of new sites, Commercial power acquisition, NOC acquisition from different agencies etc, liaison with other departments) to help a smooth running of operational sites (ensuring a detailed/efficient mechanism of rent payments while ensuring unhindered access to all sites) through own contacts as well as through Warid’s site acquisition vendors.
· Have good relationship with different govt. departments, semi-govt authorities etc. so as to use them in the best interest of warid, if and when required.
· To ensure a cost-efficient mechanism for all site acquisition related activities work towards bringing the operational costs of the Warid network down as per company defined targets
· Develop and implement SOPs with other departments, and site acquisition vendors
· Ensure that there are not more than 1% sites halted in the Warid network at any given time. Taking full ownership of getting the halted sites to be operational in as less time as possible.
Education Required:
B.Sc Engineering or equivalent
Experience Required:
More than 12 years of experience with at least 08 years relevant (Site Acq/site build) experience preferably in the telecom industry
Skill Set Required:
· Good communication skills (written and oral)
· Good negotiation skills with site owners & different govt. agencies with proven track record
· Person of high integrity
