Start Date: May 2011 Contract: 12-24 months Based in Aweil Northern Bahr el Ghazal
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an individual with proven people management, and project administration experience to join our Disaster Management Programme in Aweil, Northern Bahr el Ghazal, South Sudan.
With particular focus on assisting returnees back to the south of Sudan, the successful candidate will be reporting to the Area Coordinator and be responsible for overseeing the set up and management of HR, logistics and finance functions of the Aweil base. The post also holds specific line management responsibilities for project support staff including the Area Finance Officer and Area HR Officer. The successful post holder will also be responsible for assisting with proposal writing, monitoring and evaluation; institutional learning; and supporting the Project Managers in donor contract management.
The successful candidate will have strong representation, analytical and problem solving skills as well as proven experience of HR, Finance and/or Logistics. Experience of project cycle management and donor reporting are also essential requirements for this post.
