Project Development Consultants
Main tasks & responsibilities • Conduct an assessment visit and draft an assessment report • Draft project proposals/grant requests • Follow up on project opportunities/leads • Identify, follow-up with and lobby potential donor
Requirements & assets • Relevant university degree • 5 years proven experience in higher education and/or private sector development • Work experience in applicable country • Proven track record in successful project development and acquisition (World Bank, UNDP, Europe Aid, etc.) • Excellent presentation and networking skills and the ability to work independently. The position particularly requires an entrepreneurial and results-oriented approach. • Good oral and written language skills in English; Arabic a distinct advantage for Sudan and Yemen • Available on short notice
Spark offers • International and dynamic working experience. • Remuneration is partly performance-based. The fixed part of the remuneration depends on experience. Successful Project Developers may be offered new assignments, i.e. in the implementation of new projects.
