Revenue Accountant
Purpose of the Position
To give financial and business support to Insurance operations and Insurance Management team.
The Successful candidate will be based in Dar Es Salaam and will report to the Management Accountant
Duties and Responsibilities
Responsible for booking all revenue during month-end accounting close
Bank reconciliations
Analysis of general ledger accounts
Timely analysis and circulation of branch reports
Checking of daily banking.( Branches)
Updating and reconciliation of Bank standing orders and other direct deposits
Submit supporting documentation to internal or external auditors as required
Management of branch recurring expenditures e.g. printing and stationery items.
Assist ln financial audits and implement audit recommendations.
Any other duties as may be allocated by your supervisors
Qualifications and Experience
The successful candidate will possess the following minimum qualifications:
Education:
Bachelor or Advanced Diploma in Accounting
Professional qualification! CPA(T) or ACCA
Minimum 2 years as an accountant with proven skills in treasury management, and reporting.
Attributes.
Excellent communication skills both ve a1 and written.
Excellent Interpersonal skills.
Good listening skills.
Team player
Trustworthy and proven integrity
Enthusiastic.
Very hard working person.
Fluent in English & Kiswahili language.
Fast learner, quick thinker and able to work with minimal supervision.
