Responsible for assisting with the creation and implementation of public relations plans,concepts and creates strategic promotional content for PR purposes.
Key Responsibilities
• Create, deliver, edit, and optimize PR materials.
• Ensure that Tigo key messages are supportive of and consistent with marketing strategies.
• Keep an eye on social media outreach.
• Deliver PR content for LinkedIn, Twitter, Facebook, email, or direct mail.
• Coordinate and deliver PR campaigns.
• Mass-mail materials.
• Provide support to public relations Manager.
• Coordinate departments/categories news flow of information and communication and disseminate it according to plan/strategy.
• Work with manager and business units to determine budget and manage expenses to that budget.
• Promote products and services through public relations initiatives.
• Create briefs materials for leadership ahead of interviews
• Create and deliver press releases, media relations content, case studies, white papers, executive bios, corporate newsletter content, social media content, and speaking proposals.
• Identify, develop and execute communications strategy for key media.
• Research media coverage and industry trends.
• Develop fresh story ideas.
• Conduct extensive media outreach.
• Improve communication efficiencies within company.
• Manage video/images content.
• Develop monthly Reports and PR values.

Position Requirements
• University Degree, preferably in marketing, communication, and business administration
• 2-3 years’ experience in PR related work and editorial media management
• Proven track record of successful event coordination
