Head of Business Banking
We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join the Retail team in the role of Head of Business banking to provide leadership in designing and implementing SME banking strategy for the market segment through managing the elements of marketingmix and managing a dedicated business baking team in soliciting, recruiting, managing and sustaining portfolios for this segment of customers.
This role reports to the Chief Retail Banking
Key Responsibilities
Prepare budget and ensure that the objective are met, also prepare and implement the MSME/SME- strategy of the bank.
Managing and supervising sales and portfolio management in branches related to businesses.
Responsible for managing all MSMEfSME related activities of the bank,
Guide the-Zonal and Branch managers and all business related relationship managers on the growth of the business banking assets.
Provide insightful leadership team for product development, implementation, pricing and streamlining portfolio,
Have delegated authorities of representing the Chief Retail Banking on sales aspects related to businesses and the branch management for business centres
Responsible for managing business centers throughout the network.
Requirements
Degree in Business Administration or its equivalent with MBA.
Professional Certified Banker.
Excellent knowledge of banking operations and financial markets in Tanzania.
Atleast7yearsrelevantexperiencein business banking and in particular leading SMEunits.
Good customer relationship and sound understanding of bank's loan products, policies and procedures.
Financial management skills, extensive business banking knowledge and should possess sound leadership skills.
We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join the Agribusiness team in the role of Head of Agribusiness responsible for leading and executing the Agribusiness strategy for the bank. This role reports to the Managing Director.
Key Responsibilities
Formulate strategies that will increase revenue to the Bank through development of new Agribusiness products that will excel in the market.
Review credit appraisals from Relationship
Managers and Relationship Officers and provide appropriate technical advice.
Coordinate all Agribusiness activities within the bank, monitor and advise Management on the best option to improve Agribusiness in the bank.
Plan and execute the best strategies in formulation of Agribusiness products that will attract and add value to chosen segments-of customers in the market.
Review and implement the Agribusiness departmental strategy to ensure objectives are achieved on a quarterly basis and implement measures to enhance performance.
Coordinate budget objectives of the
Agribusiness department to ensure targets are achieved as per approved bank's budget.
Prepare departmental budget and projections for growth in line with bank's targets.
Requirements
Master's Degree holder in Business
Administration, Agro-Economics or any other related field.
Minimum 5 years having worked in
Agribusiness sector, minimum 4 years of credit appraisals, 5 years in managerial position.
Good knowledge of Agribusiness Value Chain, sound credit knowledge, and of bank's products and services.
Good collaborative skills across other business areas to ensure seamless value chain delivery of Agribusiness banking solutions
Extensive knowledge of agribusiness products and should possess sound leadership skills.
Head of Transactional
We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join the Wholesale team in the role of Head of Transactional Banking to drive the creation and sales of transactional related solutions to wholesale banking customers including Government, Corporate, Institutional, Agribusiness and SMEs in the areas of Trade
Finance, Cash Management, Electronic Banking, Product development and Transactional Services.
This role reports to the Chief Wholesale Banking .
Key responsibilities
Lead a team of specialists in transactional banking offerings.
Participate in any transactional related offerings including trade finance, lending decisions, ALCO, technology related offerings, service improvements, marketing of solutions.
Decide on pricing strategy for segments and individual customers.
liase with respective teams to give necessary notices to government/regulators and public of product changes.
liaise with Operations Centres, regularly reviewing all operational standards for product profitability, and identifying skills gaps.
Review and feedback into customer satisfaction surveys, responding to customer complaints.
liaise with Learning and Development and Sales Management functions to design and deliver appropriate training, and give input into sales strategies
Participate in promotion of banking products, design of sales programs and implementation of sales programs.
Manage a dynamic transactional team that will provide 50% of transactional income for Wholesale banking
Requirements
Degree in Business Management preferable Finance ,Banking or Economics.
Professional Certified Banker.
Not less than 10 yeas work experience, 7 years of which must be at a managerial level in a financial institution.
A comprehensive understanding of banking market, practical knowledge of Trade finance, cash management, operations, branch operations, credit skills.
Extensive knowledge in Transactional banking and should possess sound leadership skills
