Head of Transactional Banking-

We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join the Wholesale team in the role of Head of Transactional Banking to drive the creation and sales of transactional related solutions to wholesale banking customers including Government, Corporate, Institutional, Agribusiness and SMEs in the areas of Trade
Finance, Cash Management, Electronic Banking, Product development and Transactional Services.
This role reports to the Chief Wholesale Banking .
Key responsibilities
Lead a team of specialists in transactional banking offerings.
Participate in any transactional related offerings including trade finance, lending decisions, ALCO, technology related offerings, service improvements, marketing of solutions.
Decide on pricing strategy for segments and individual customers.
liase with respective teams to give necessary notices to government/regulators and public of product changes.
liaise with Operations Centres, regularly reviewing all operational standards for product profitability, and identifying skills gaps.
Review and feedback into customer satisfaction surveys, responding to customer complaints.
liaise with Learning and Development and Sales Management functions to design and deliver appropriate training, and give input into sales strategies
Participate in promotion of banking products, design of sales programs and implementation of sales programs.
Manage a dynamic transactional team that will provide 50% of transactional income for Wholesale banking
Requirements
Degree in Business Management preferable Finance ,Banking or Economics.
Professional Certified Banker.
Not less than 10 yeas work experience, 7 years of which must be at a managerial level in a financial institution.
A comprehensive understanding of banking market, practical knowledge of Trade finance, cash management, operations, branch operations, credit skills.
Extensive knowledge in Transactional banking and should possess sound leadership skills
