Salary: £31,000 - £34,649 per annum plus London Market Allowance of £3,300 per annum.

The British Council’s Creative and Cultural Economy department connects people who work in and inform the creative and cultural industries to promote international collaboration and professional exchange. We support talent and ideas exploring new ways to respond to economic and social challenges. We work with our overseas network of arts managers and partners to plan and deliver high-impact programmes which share the UK’s experience of developing the creative economy and create a more fertile environment for global cultural trade and exchange.
We are looking for a senior professional experienced in working at the intersection of arts, culture, business and digital technology, with a passion for connecting ideas, people and organisations. With an ability to think both strategically and tactically, you’ll be someone whose opinion and help is sought in the creative and cultural industries, with easy access to decision makers in organisations both large and small. You’ll be comfortable working across policy and practice in the public and private sector including skills and training. Experienced in developing co-funding and sponsorship opportunities, you’ll be able to design and deliver large projects yourself and with diverse teams.
