Assistant Program Coordinator

At Kale Uganda, we simply want to make people's lives better. We bring talents from around the world together with local community members in multiple areas to share, learn, and laugh. Since we are new and small, we are flexible and ready try creative ways to address development issues.

We are looking for assistant program coordinators to work on specific inititaves such as microfinance, health services, education, art, sports, and more.

The assistant program coordinator will work with the program coordinator and take ownership of specific projects. The project is in Jinja, Uganda and a village about 1 hour north of Jinja. This is not a paid position, and housing is provided at a subsidized rate. We will assist you with fundraising to cover your costs.

We are looking for a person who is self-driven, can work without constant supervision, is energetic, and has had some experience with community development and/or volunteering in a third-world country.
