PEAS is pleased to announce its recent partnership with ARK, an international charity whose purpose is to transform children’s lives through work in education, health and child protection across the globe.
The goal of the partnership is to demonstrate and catalyse affordable quality secondary education through public-private partnerships, in order to provide more children with a greater number of opportunities in life. Phase 1 will involve managing a network of ARK-PEAS schools to drive quality learning outcomes (www.arkonline.org).
PEAS is looking for candidates who are passionate about positively impacting children and communities through the delivery of high quality secondary education across a growing network of up to 100 secondary schools (including the ARK-PEAS schools).
ARK will be advertising a further two positions towards the end of this week.

Key responsibilities:
• Professional Development – Lead, design and implement school leadership and teacher Continuous Professional Development programs to further develop a network of school level staff with the skills and commitment to drive quality education.
• Leadership and Management – Lead, manage, empower and develop school senior leaders across a rapidly expanding network of PEAS and ARK-PEAS schools.
• School Improvement – Collaboratively develop School Improvement Plans and support school leaders to implement these.
• Curriculum - Develop subsidiary curricula to support student personal development, life skills and achievement beyond the National Curriculum.
• Research – Lead research in areas of Teaching and Learning, Literacy and Numeracy, Child Welfare and Participation, School Leadership and Community Engagement to provide a strong evidence base for strategic planning.
Qualities & Experience:
• Degree level qualification in a field relating to Education Leadership or Management and knowledge of internationally recognized best practice in Teaching & Learning
• Evidence of delivering quality secondary education at a whole-school level or through an education program
• Experience of developing and implementing professional development/training methods specific to education
• Experience of leading and managing others
• Ability to lead change
• Proven record of building positive relationships with a wide variety of different people
