HUMAN RESOURCE OFFICER (2 VACANCIES)
Salary Scale: M 6
Responsible To: Senior Human Resource Officer
Employment Terms: Permanent
JOB PURPOSE AND MAIN DUTIES
i. To process and verify information related to recruitment, salary changes, personnel statistics and job analysis.
ii. To draft letters of appointments, promotion and confirmation
iii. To help in assessing terminal benefits like pensions and gratuities
iv. To collect data and other vital statistics relating to recruiting and training
v. To handle staff relations and welfare matters.
vi. Any other duties as may be assigned from time to time.
PERSON SPECIFICATIONS
i. Masters degree in Human Resource Management or its equivalent from an Institution recognized by the National Council for Higher Education.
ii. A Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management, Social Sciences, Arts, Education or equivalent Humanities discipline from a university recognized by the National Council for Higher Education.
iii. Should have good interpersonal and communication skills and proficiency in computer packages.
iv. At least two (2) years experience in human resource management in a reputable organisation.
