The Roads Fund Board is Government Institution under the Ministry of Works established by the Roads and Fuel tolls Act, CAP 220 of 2006. The Board is looking for qualified and experienced Tanzanians to fill the following vacant posts.
1. Engineer Grade I 2 posts (Dar es Salaam)
2. Qualifications and Experience:
Holder of Bachelor Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent qualification from recognized institutions. He/She must be registered as a Professional Engineer, with relevant working experience of at least three years in a reputable organization.
3. Main Duties and Responsibilities
(a) To prepare performance agreements between the Roads Fund Board and the implementing Agencies;
(b) To review progress reports from implementing Agencies and assess their compliance with performance agreements;
(c) To conduct monitoring of the implementation of road works by the Agencies/Local Authorities;
(d) To facilitate the preparation and implementation of strategic plan;
(e) To review annual programmes budget and action plan of implementing Agencies and advice accordingly;
(f) To facilitate the preparation of annual, quarterly and monthly reports of Roads Fund Board;
(g) Perform such other related duties as may be assigned.
4. Personal attributes
He/she should be able to work diligently long after office hours, promote team work, to comprehend and communicate, effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high pressure environment.
5. Terms of engagement
