Applicants that have been selected to join the MyElimu Volunteers Program

Last month we opened applications for MyElimu Volunteers Program, where we were seeking to recruit young people to work with us in our activities. We received 300+ applications from 15 regions of the country, i.e Dar, Njombe, Morogoro,Dodoma, Mtwara, Mbeya, Mara, Mwanza, Tanga, Arusha, Rukwa, Singida, Kilimanjaro, Iringa and Pwani region. We also received applicants from Kenya, Nigeria, Netherlands and Vanuatu - South Pacific.

We evaluated the applications based on the purpose of our recruitment, location the applicant, and skillsets they possess.

Our next activity is school outreach where we aim to raise awareness about MyElimu.com as the discussion platform for secondary school students. Hence, we have selected young people from the 5 cities of the county where we will do the outreach. The main reason for selection of the 5 regions is because they are the ones that have the potential market of students who have internet access of which is required to use MyElimu. We appreciate and thank applicants for different regions apart from those and those from other countries. As we aim to expand, we will reach out to you so that work can together and do many more great projects.
