Infrastructure Project Manager, Civil Engineering
The Infrastructure Project Manager, Civil Engineering will act as Project Manager for all TMEA-funded civil works and other infrastructure-related activities at the Dar es Salaam Port. S/he will be responsible for providing programmatic support in the planning, implementation and reporting of project activities, including developing and maintaining strategies, work plans, budgets, monitoring and evaluation plans, and reports.
S/he will build partnerships with external stakeholders including: Tanzania Ports Authority; other relevant government partner agencies; the EAC Secretariat; and other development partners, to ensure consistent and quality delivery of agreed activities.
The ideal candidate will possess an undergraduate degree in civil engineering or a related field. A relevant
Master's degree or professional and qualifications (particularly in project management) would be an added advantage. A minimum of eight (8) years' work experience in civil engineering with one or more of the major surface transport modes (road, rail and port) is essential. In addition, s/he will have significant experience with contract management, project management and procurement
