Rio Tinto Energy has recently acquired control of Riversdale Mining in Mozambique. Riversdale currently has 2 projects, the Benga project which is set to produce first coal in 2011. The Rio Tinto Health and Safety standards and processes need to be established in a quick and effective way to deliver strong health and safety outcomes and alignment with Rio Tinto's values and standards.

Minimum Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent education/experience required;
• Trade qualifications and experience in engineering and maintenance
• Knowledge on the maintenance and improvement of heavy earth moving equipment
• Experience in maintenance management systems and procedures
• Able to Apply Project management principles
