The British Council is committing substantial investment to develop a digital office, a highly functional, highly available virtual space where BC staff can access everything that they need to know and do everything that they need to do with limited physical dependencies. The Records Manager will be part of a small professional team delivering RM policies and products to British Council operations across the globe. The post is focused specifically on the Council’s Programmes and Projects directorate (a function which delivers the ERASMUS exchange programme, amongst others) and in developing and embedding good RM practice into their approach. The Records Manager will be directly involved in a major new initiative to deliver the Meridio EDRMS alongside SharePoint and Office 2010 to transform digital RM at the British Council.
You will have:
- Professional records management experience in a corporate setting
- Experience of developing and deploying approaches to electronic records management
- Experience of SharePoint and / or EDRM technologies
- Experience of leading projects or project workstreams
- Experience of change management programmes
- A professionally accredited qualification in records management (an MA or MSc)
- Project management certification
