GIZ International Services (IS) is an integral division of GIZ. We offer the experience, the regional and technical know-how of GIZ in the global market and provide international clients with expertise in terms of economic and result-oriented services.
GIZ IS is planning to submit a proposal for an EC funded project in the health sector in the Republic of South Sudan: Better Health for South Sudan (BHESS).
The overall objective of the programme is to improve the health status of the population of South Sudan, particularly the poor.
In order to achieve this objective, the specific objectives are:
- To Increase access and utilization of basic health care of improved quality
- To produce skilled human resources and to develop management capacity within the public health sector.
Your tasks
Management of the grants for implementing institutions
Prepare technical specifications for works/supplies contracts and service contracts
All-over coordination of the administrative & financial management
Further specific tasks are to be defined.
Your profile
- Excellent English drafting skills and Fluency
- Minimum 8, but preferably 12 years of professional experience as administrator and/or fundmanager
- Previous working experience in a fragile country in Central East Africa.
- Working experience in one to three long term donor funded projects.
