| Summary: | TradeMark East Africa (TMEA) is working with partners in the East African Community to reduce the cost of transportation and increase trade competitiveness. The purpose to the research programme is to ensure TMEA has ready-access to knowledge for the ongoing design and implementation of its programme. In 2012, TMEA seeks to better understand the experiences, outcomes and lessons from other initiatives to improve trade facilitation; and the depth and breadth of the implementation of the customs union and common market in EAC. |
