Summary: | The Administrative Assistant - Maintenance & Repairs will be responsible for the maintenance of office facilities and overseeing the repair of office equipment. This will include assisting in supervising the Office Assistants and conducting daily cleanliness checks within the office. S/he will also supervise casuals/contractors hired by the Administration Unit from time to time to provide maintenance and repair services. The job holder will also be expected to conduct regular snap checks within the office premises and repair/maintain taps, bulbs, sockets and other plumbing and electrical appliances. In addition, s/he will provide administrative support to the Corporate Services team including filing and delivery of documents among others. We are looking for a self-driven and highly motivated individual with good planning and organising skills, with the ability to pay attention to detail and work with minimum supervision. The ideal candidate will possess a technician certificate or diploma in electrical studies, plumbing works or related field, with a minimum of three years' experience in performing similar duties in a busy organisation. This post is available on a fixed term contract ending 31 December 2012 and will be based at the TMEA Headquarters in Nairobi, Kenya.
