Qualification and Experience | • A Ph.D in Mass Communication, Journalism or Media Studies. • Evidence of a strong track Record of Published Research and relevant teaching experience. |
Duties | • To teach Mass Communication Theory, Mass Communication Research, and Print or Broadcast journalism. • To supervise undergraduate Research Projects. • To conduct Research and carry out Community Service. |
SENIOR LECTURER/ LECTURER IN THE DEPARTMENT OF CONSUMER SCIENCE | |
Qualification and Experience | • Ph.D in Consumer Science Education or Ph.D in Home Economics Education or Ph.D in Vocational Home Economics Education. • University teaching experience will be an added advantage. |
Duties | • Teach professional home Economics Education/ Consumer Science education Undergraduate and Post graduate courses. • Supervise student’s research projects at Undergraduate and Post graduate level. • Conduct research and do community service. |

PROFESSOR/ ASSOCIATE PROFESSOR/ SENIOR LECTURER/ LECTURER IN THE DEPARTMENT OF ADULT EDUCATION | |
Qualification and Experience | • A Ph.D. or equivalent Degree with a strong component in management. • University teaching experience particularly with adult learners. |
Duties | • To teach Management and related courses to Undergraduates and Post graduate students. • To supervise research projects and Thesis. • To conduct research and do community service. |
LOCAL CANDIDATES
Permanent and Pensionable service after successful completion of two years on probation; Recruitment and Retention Allowance, Housing Allowance and a Medical Aid.
EXPATRIATE CANDIDATES
