The Wits School of Education has recently created an exciting new division of Languages, Literacies and Literatures and is seeking a full-time person who is able to contribute to the School’s undergraduate professional programmes and postgraduate programmes in this area. The school prepares teachers to teach IsiZulu, Sesotho, Sepedi, English and Afrikaans as first or additional languages. It offers Majors in these languages as well as innovative courses in New Literacies for Teachers, Methodology courses, taught by multi-language teams, and an established and highly regarded suite of postgraduate offerings in Applied Language Studies.
