Job Function :
This position will serve as a strategic partner and member of the GCP EMEA Leadership Team and is responsible for the Human Resources function EMEA Region for GCP and other geographies as appropriate within Grace.
As a strategic partner to the Grace businesses, this position will broker services for the business and region from the Centers of Excellence (COE’s) and Shared Services Center to ensure that the business is able to execute its people strategy.
Key responsibilities of the position:
- Driving a customer focused Human Resources Team.
- Building and implementing value added HR strategies and solutions in support of their clients’ business and financial goals.
- Leading the attainment, development, and retention of key talent, (overall talent management) as a key business driver.
- Partnering with HR COE’s to ensure appropriate total rewards, organizational development and leadership development practices are designed to meet business requirements.
- Acting as an internal consultant for coaching leaders in resolving organizational and employee issues.
- Analysing and planning the set up of new GCP sites in the Region. Ensure the creation of an effective local infrastructure with special focus on HR Services.
- Developing a recruiting strategy for GCP with a clear focus on the specific requirements of the regions and the regional targets in conjunction with our Talent Acquisition COE.
- Playing an active role in all acquisition opportunities, managing due diligence processes, and leading a strategy for integration management.
- Establishing key HR Metrics for the Region.
Professional background:
- The qualified candidate will have a university degree and 10 or more years of experience in Human Resources with expertise in the areas of talent management, organizational effectiveness, management development, change management, and mergers and acquisition evaluation and integration.
- Several years experience in a global multi-national company (preferably a U.S. based multi-national). Prior experience in managing a Pan-European HR organization. Proven experience in the Middle East / India region. Demonstrated experience in a matrix environment.
- Sound knowledge of all facets of HR Management, as well as working knowledge of the differing legal requirements for each country.
- Excellent command of English language, another language of the region is a clear advantage.
- Willing to travel (50%+, if necessary)

Reporting to :
VP Human Resources, GCP
The position will have HR Managers in various EMEA countries reporting into it, but it will also require effective partnering with divisional and corporate HR functions.
