Head Teacher - Aga Khan Nursery School, Mombasa

The Aga Khan Nursery School, Mombasa was established in 1939 and teaches the Early Childhood Education and Development Programme. The school was the first to initiate Crèche in 2003 and in 2004, was the first Early Years Centre in Kenya to implement the Early Years curriculum of the Primary Years Programme.

The Nursery school in Mombasa invites applications from qualified candidates for the position of Head Teacher for the school term starting September 2011.

The Requirements
Candidates should have a minimum of a M.Ed, relevant qualifications in Early Childhood Development, over five years experience as a Head Teacher with special qualifications in educational administration, a proven track record in school leadership, efficient management of human and financial resources, and the ability to provide strategic direction to the school.
