BRAC Maendaleo Tanzania is going to start Play based ECD project from January 2016 and it will run up to December 2018. BRAC in Tanzania is seeking application from competent, dynamic and self-motivated individuals to fill up the following position.
POSITION: PROGRAM ORGANIZER, ECD-BEP
REPORTS TO: AREA MANAGER
Duties and Responsibilities.
1. Ensure survey, children selection, play lab house selection according to criteria, primary school selection and possible play leaders list
2. Ensure children attendance more than 90%,monthly parents and community meeting, play lab materials and overall quality of play lab
3. Conduct monthly refresher training and ensure play leader’s development
4. Ensuring timely report submission to the Area Manager and preserve
5. Ensure monitoring and management’s findings
6. Maintaining liaison with district education office, Government primary schools ,Ward and street leaders offices
7. Attend in staff meetings and develop monthly refresher module
8. Must have to move to the field at least 90% of work
Experience requirements
Those with experience in ECD projects will have an added advantage.
Educational requirements
Advance diploma/Graduate in Education/ Early child development or any other related field.
