BRAC Maendaleo Tanzania is going to start Play based ECD project from January 2016 and it will run up to December 2018. BRAC in Tanzania is seeking application from competent, dynamic and self-motivated individuals to fill up the following position.
POSITION: AREA MANAGER, ECD-BEP
REPORTS TO: PROJECT MANAGER
Duties and Responsibilities
• Planning and management of education program in assigned areas
• Ensuring resource mobilization for expansion of the program
• Ensuring timely and proper utilization of budget
• Ensuring timely submission of reports to the Project Manager
• Recruitment and development of staffs and play leaders
• Appraising job performance of Program organizers And play leaders
• Analyzing monitoring, audit and research reports
• Ensuring program quality and heading the quality assurance in assigned area
• Responsible for overall management of procurement, logistics and administration of ECD project in the area
• Maintaining regular liaison with country office Education team
• Maintaining liaison with government, donors, school authority and other development agencies
• Must have to move to the field at least 70% of work
Experience requirements
• At least one year experience is preferable .
Educational requirements
Graduate in Education/Early child development or any other related field.

Excellent communication skills in English [written and spoken]
