Bugando Medical Centre is a consultant and teaching hospital for the Lake and Western zones of the United Republic of Tanzania. It is situated along the shores of Lake Victoria in Mwanza City. It has 900 beds and over 1000 employees. Entry Qualifications:
Holder of an Ordinary Secondary School Certificate with passes in English, and holder of class "C'' driving license with certificate of driving training from a recognized Institute. Must have undergone motor
drivers course at a recognized institution and posses 'Trade Test" Grade III (mechanicals), with at 'least three years of class "C" driving experience.
Duties and Responsibilities
Driving cars and buses as well as other motor machines.
Ensuring that fuel, oil, water, tires and the general state of the car has been checked before use.
Providing driving services to BMC staff.
Transporting parcels from BMC offices to other offices, transport terminals and vice versa.
Maintaining the log-book for each and every trip.
Ensuring that the vehicle is serviced as planned.
Carrying out small repairs if the vehicle breaks down.
Reporting for major preventing repairs to the Transport Officer
