Job Summary
Cardno Emerging Markets USA, Ltd. (Cardno) is seeking experts for an upcoming Millennium Challenge Corporation (MCC) activity. The purpose of this activity is to assist MCC in working with partner countries to integrate internationally accepted principles of environmental sustainability and social equity into the design and implementation of MCC-funded projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Relevant experience applying good international industry practice to projects (e.g., the International Finance corporation’s Performance Standards.
- Relevant experience in the sectors in which MCC invests (transport, power, water and sanitation, natural resource management, industry, buildings, agriculture, irrigation, policy reform, capacity development and grant facilities management)
- Excellent English skills; and Language skills relevant to MCC countries, which include French, Spanish, Portuguese
- Experience working in developing countries
- Requires 5-20+ years of relevant professional experience in one or more of the areas listed below
