Job Summary

​Cardno’s Emerging Markets Division provides specialised professional services associated with the planning, design, implementation, evaluation and monitoring of development programs across a range of physical, economic, and social infrastructure sectors. 
We have been shortlisted for the DFID funded “Private Sector Innovation Programme for Health” (PSP4H).  The aim of the project is to provide a better understanding of the for-profit market in the health sector and to encourage pro-poor changes by manufacturers, distributors and other markets in which poor people pay for healthcare.
The Information & Communications Officer will be responsible for the collection and management of data, reports and other information.  Key duties will be the promotion and sharing of research and results.  This position will work closely with the Research Capacity Building Advisor.

Key Responsibilities

​The successful candidate will possess:

• Strong technical skills in health communications
• Experience working collaboratively with counterparts at national and decentralised levels
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work in a multi-cultural setting, and in multi-disciplinary teams.
• English fluency and strong written and verbal English communication skills required
• Proven ability to communicate quickly, clearly, and concisely in both speech and writing; Excellent writing skills must include ability to produce and edit documents in a timely manner.
