Team Leader - Private Sector Development

Job Title:                Team Leader, KE1 Project Start Date:        September 2013 Project Duration:          44 months Description of the project: The Transformation Triggering Facility aims to support Ehtiopia in its Economic Transformation through stimulating Investment, promoting exports and productivity of SME in four strategic Value Chains: Leather products, Textiles, Agri-processing and pharmaceuticals. TTF is composed by 4 main components: 1.      SME and Market development 2.      Creation of an Innovation Center and an EU-Ethiopian MBA 3.      Capacity Building and Economic Policy Fine Tuning 4.      Hub’s Development (in transport and in health) Roles and Responsibilities: Support to the Ministry of Finance and Economic Development (MoFED) in the implementation of the monitoring system as well as the overall management of the TTF; Support in the preparation and coordination of PSC meetings; support in the right application of EDF procedures and in the preparation and implementation of Programme Estimates, Specific Commitments and preparation of tender dossiers; support in the execution of the visibility plan; Active in the coordination of the four components and in the implementation of component 3 and 4 Qualification and skills: Minimum Master’s Degree In Economics, International Development, MBA, Finance or other relevant fields General Experience: ·         Minimum 15 years of working experience ·         Minimum 5 years as professional in International Cooperation Specific Experience: Successful involvement in Reforms related with Industrial Development and Investment Promotion ESSENTIAL: Minimum 5 years and In depth experience of EDF procedures, management of EDF projects in different phases of the PCM (drafting of project proposals, tenders, evaluations, TORs, contracts, work programmes, Programme Estimates, invoices and payments) ESSENTIAL: Proven experience in setting up and support the implementation of a Monitoring System for multidisciplinary, multi-beneficiary projects Experience in Project Management/Coordination Ability to Dialogue with, manage and coordinate staff and committees at all levels Relevant experience in Countries that have recently transformed their economies is an asset.  An Experience in East Asia would be a plus. Knowledge of Ethiopia and the region is a plus Excellent Knowledge of English
