WWF (World Wide Fund for Nature), the international conservation organization, is seeking to recruit three competent and motivated individuals for its Tanzania Fisheries Co-management Programmewhich is centred at the WWF HQ office in Dar es Salaam and which operates in coastal communities inRufiji, Mafia, Kilwa and Mtwara Districts and Temeke Municipality:
Main tasks:
Responsible for coordinating a programme of support to village-based savings & credit groups in coastal communities in the programme area. Support includes group establishment, mentoring, entrepreneurship training group networking and progress monitoring.
Duty station:
Kilwa with travel to Mafia, Rufiji, Mtwara, Temeke and DSM
Requirements:
Degree or Advanced Diploma in subject relevant to microfinance or small-to-medium enterprise (SME) development and entrepreneurship; at least 5 years' experience working in the field of ruralmicrofinance a small-scale enterprise development.
