WWF (World Wide Fund for Nature), the international conservation organization, is seeking to recruit three competent and motivated individuals for its Tanzania Fisheries Co-management Programmewhich is centred at the WWF HQ office in Dar es Salaam and which operates in coastal communities inRufiji, Mafia, Kilwa and Mtwara Districts and Temeke Municipality:
Main tasks:
Effectively communicating the objectives and achievements of the programme to stakeholders; facilitating knowledge-sharing and community awareness-raising on issues surrounding sustainable fisheries and marine resources management.
Duty station:
Mafia Island or Dar es Salaam with travel to Kilwa, Rufiji, Mtwara and Temeke
Requirements:
Advanced Diploma or Bachelor's degree in environmental education, communications, natural resources management or similar; at least 5 years relevant professional experience in communications and/ or-environmental education; experience in supervising the design and production of awareness materials
Strong communication & presentation skills
