Senior Customs and Revenue Management Systems Advisor
Purpose of position: The MFEM, with the support of the Vanuatu Government CIO, is now seeking a qualified Customs and Revenue Management Systems Advisor to conduct a comprehensive review of the Department of Customs and Inland Revenue (DCIR) systems environment, to develop a complete strategy and action recommendations, and to prepare appropriate market-facing documentation for the immediate next steps in DCIR systems development.
Term: 3 months contract
Qualifications: The ideal candidate will have the following qualification :
Masters Degree in Information Technology, Information Systems, Management, or related field
Experience: The Consultant shall be an ICT specialist, of high international repute with relevant international transactional and project experience (minimum 10 years) in implementing customs and revenue management systems in the national customs agency context, particularly in developing countries. The consultant will have a good understanding of Government customs and revenue management Systems, Government IT Systems, user needs analysis and have a project management qualification.
