Description of duties: Under the supervision of the Lead (Software Management), the incumbent will collaborate with other WTS Software Packagers, Software Engineers and Technicians to ensure delivery of workplace technologies to end-users are based on approved standards and methods. The incumbent will be required to work with members of the GWS, GSD, ITT and other offices to ensure that software applications and operating systems are standardized and configured based on requirements, and that they follow IT infrastructure security policies and management procedures. The incumbent, in collaboration with other Software Packagers will provide the latest software technologies based on the continual changing of WHO business requirements, and to ensure its optimum integration with other workplace hardware technologies. S/He will also ensure efficient automation of its installation and deployment.
