3. AN S.I.T MANAGER
Responsible to: IT/SYSTEMS DIRECTOR
Job Purpose:
Manage and provide strategic (immediate, medium and Long range) & operational direction for the business support systems used by Airtel Uganda (e.g. ERP, HR Systems. Revenue Assurance & Fraud

Mgt, CRM, Billing, Bl, Distribution, ,etc.). Ensure that systems in scope are fit-for-purpose, aligned with business requirements, appropriately integrated, sized, supported and deliver the functional and performance required achieve business goals.
Key Result Areas
1. Provide visibility on new and modified functionality /capabilities based on specific criteria.
2. Manage the end-to-end process of introducing something 'new' this improves the performance of a business unit.
3. To engage internal business units, Si partner in the phases of innovation, analysis and proposals.
4. Resolves any impasse between business and technology teams.
5. Identification of new opportunities for emerging technologies.
6. Manage the interlock or overlapping responsibilities between IT and the different internal business units.
7. Build a capable and motivated team at Airtel Uganda to create a high performance team environment.

Job requirement

You have
• University degree in Computer Science and other related disciplines
• Professional qualification in Project Management Techniques
• Professional qualification in ITtL and SIX Sigma with focus on IT skills
• 3-5 years with a minimum of 3 years in management role preferably within the Telecoms industry
• Experience on implementation and operation of SLA's and OLA's delivery services to multiple business units/customers
• Successful background with stakeholder management
• Inter-group communication and interpersonal skills
• Business & commercial acumen
• Excellent communication skills, both oral and written
