RESEARCH POSITIONS at The African Population and Health Research Center

The African Population and Health Research Center (APHRC), a regional non-profit research organization headquartered in Nairobi, Kenya, is looking for accomplished scholars to join its multi-disciplinary research team based at its headquarters in any of the following fields:

• Public Health
• Education
• Economics
• Policy Analysis
• Urban Studies
• Population Studies

Each of these positions requires a PhD in a relevant field, with the following years of post qualification experience for each level as evidenced by strong record of scholarly publications and success in raising and managing research grants:

• Senior Research Scientist - at least 10 years experience
• Research Scientist - at least 5 years experience
• Associate Research Scientist - at least 2 years experience
• Post-doctoral fellow – position should be taken up within two years of completion of doctoral degree.

These positions come with an attractive, internationally competitive remuneration package including employer paid medical, travel, life insurance cover and retirement benefits. Allowances toward in-relocation, home leave travel and dependants' education are provided.
