JOB PURPOSE: The role is responsible for deal implementation and disbursements of approved funds in addition to closely following up on projects by analyzing client profiles and preparing adequate project status & financial analysis by working closely with the Investment Associates. The role is also responsible for maintaining relationships with ICD's portfolio companies and coordinating activities through-out the investment lifecycle. |
PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: - Maintaining relationships with clients, and overseeing the performance of ICD's Term Finance investments, thereby ensuring smooth implementation of overall portfolio operations.
- Preparing required performance reports related to projects and their status upon request from the senior management and conducting regular site visits to project sites for better monitoring of work progress.
- Ensuring that "Advice for Payment" notifications are sent out in a timely manner, in adherence with the agreed repayment schedule.
- Contacting clients to resolve payment delays, if any. Recommending corrective action for projects that have deviated from the original project plan and repayment schedule.
- Escalating issues regarding distressed projects at early stages and assessing come-back opportunity to facilitate prudent decision making. Recommending corrective action for further review and action by the Head Term Finance.
- Initiating account closure on the completion of the repayment schedule.
- Keeping up to date with the recent happenings in ICD's target markets and sectors (for ICD's Direct Investments portfolio), following up announcements issued by regulators from time to time as well different reports issued by the specialized institutions.
- Identifying opportunities for corporate finance and other advisory services within the existing portfolio companies, in order to strengthen their capabilities and performance further. Liaising with the Advisory Services team to follow up on these prospects.
- Monitoring the Term Finance investment portfolio in order to identify requirements for deep sector expertise, and highlighting these to the Investment Associates.
- Coordinating with the Monitoring and Evaluation department to measure the developmental impact related metrics that need to be tracked for Term Financing projects.

Qualification & Experience: - Bachelors Degree in Economics or Finance
- Master degree or a post graduate certificate; CFA, CMA, CPA will be an advantage
- 5 years of experience in the Banking and Financial Services sector

Skills: - Fluency Russian and English Language are must
