Project description

This process aims to fill a roster to obtain the specified consultancy services on-call. The incumbents must be professional specialists on at least one of the following themes:

• Access to information.
• Online media/new technologies (including legal and regulatory frameworks)
• Media literacy
• Media ownership
• Government regulation
• Public interest media
• Female journalism and female content in media
• Business development consultants (financial sustainability of media outlets)
• Financially sustainable
• Legal experts
• Training facilitators
• Project development experts
• Advertising campaigns

General direction on the tasks and area of responsibility is provided by the designated contact person in Expertise France according to the Terms of Reference of the specific project the incumbent is contacted for. During this interview, he/she will be informed on the translation of this guidance into the specific activities required to perform assigned duties on the specific project, as well as on any administrative issue to be discussed.

Qualifications and skills

-University degree (Master) or, in absence of University degree, relevant professional experience.

-At least 5 years or 10 years of post-graduate experience as expert on at least one on the following themes:

• Access to information.
• Online media/new technologies (including legal and regulatory frameworks)
• Media literacy
• Media ownership
• Government regulation
• Public interest media
• Female journalism and female content in media
• Business development consultants (financial sustainability of media outlets)
• Financially sustainable
• Legal experts
• Training facilitators
• Project development experts
• Advertising campaigns
• Country –specific experience in at least one of the following country will be an asset: Georgia; Republic of Moldova; Morocco; Tunisia; Malawi; Mozambique; Tanzania; Paraguay; Myanmar/Burma: East Timor Or Fiji
