The Youth & Student Campaigns Intern supports the national youth engagement team in leadership development, advocacy, and fundraising.
Supporting and scaling existing campaigns - 30 Hour Famine, Water Walks, Gift Catalog, and others.
Supporting and scaling existing youth programs - Youth Ambassador Program, clubs, volunteers, trips, events, and others
Support the development of new campaigns, programs, and products
Working with programs teams and marketing teams to develop campaign and youth programming resources and tools
Coordinating internal projects that support the raising of young activists on behalf of World Vision Canada
University degree and/or college specialization in marketing, business/fundraising, or international development
Marketing experience - youth marketing in particular would be an asset
Project management experience with a demonstrated ability to simultaneously manage multiple medium to large scale projects
Administrative Proficiency with digital office tools (microsoft/google) and an attention to detail in tracking revenue, budgets, contracts, and logistics
Strong organizational and analytical skills
Excellent communication, interpersonal and listening skills
Well versed in social media to support engagement, campaign promotions, and community development
Works well under pressure
Valid driver's license and access to a vehicle is highly preferred
