A member of a Technical Assistance Team for an urban development project in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania, with the overall objective of developing an integrated land use and transport plan and guidelines to guide the detailed development and appropriate densification along the first line of the Dar es Salaam BRT Corridor. Realization of this strategy will maximize the benefits of this significant transport investment. The strategy should be developed through a participatory approach and according to the relevant statutory requirements for urban planning.

- A minimum of a Masters level degree in Transport Planning, Transport/Traffic Engineering, or related Degree, or equivalent professional discipline - A minimum of 10 years working experience in the transport sector
Professional Experience Required
- Demonstrated expertise and experience in integrated transport planning and regulations including transit oriented development, coordination of transport hierarchies and multiple modes, design of sustainable business models for roads and transit investment and operations, and stakeholder workshops and consensus-building processes - Experience in working in developing country and limited data environments - Experience working in Africa will be an added advantage
