POSITION TITLE: Internal Audit Manager- Reporting to Managing Director.

SUMMARY:
The Internal Audit Manager is directly responsible to direct and lead the planning and conduct of Technical, operational, financial and compliance audits, with selected policies, procedures and regulations to evaluate and increase efficiency and/or effectiveness of the internal audit control system to promote good corporate governance towards achieving mission and vision of the Company.

MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

To control and Supervise audit te.am activities.
Planning and executes audit according to the standards of the professional practice of Internal
Auditing and the Internal Audit Charter.
Identifying business process risks.
Reports audit findings and recommend corrective actions for unsatisfactory conditions to improve operations.

To prepare reports to Management and ensure compliance with regulatory bodies.
To ensure Audit Reports and recommendations including those by external auditors are implemented.
To conduct special reviews, audits and investigations .
To analyze data for evidence of deficiencies in control, duplication of effort, fraud or lack of compliance with approved management policies, procedures, laws and government regulations.
Evaluates systems effectiveness through application of knowledge of business system including financial, procurement and other operations and an understanding of audit techniques.
Obtains analyses and appraise evidential data as basic for an informed objective opinion on the adequacy and effectiveness of the system and efficiency performance of the activities being reviewed.
To perform any other related duties as assigned by Managing Director.

QUALIFICATION, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Accounting and/or any other relevant processional qualification in accounting or auditing such as CPA, CIA, CISA, ACCA, ACMA, ACA or its equivalent.
Registered as a certified Public Accountant or Certified Information System Auditor or Certified
Internal Auditor.

Five (5) years audit experience including two years in management or supervision of audit field operations.
Experience in developing audit plans, audit programs, writing internal audit reports.
Excellent computer skills, communications skills.
High level of confidentiality and integrity

REMUNERATION: The above position carries attractive remuneration as per The Guardian Limited salary structure and incentive package.
