Precision Air Services Plc is a fast growing private Tanzanian airline which operates in Partnership with Kenya Airways, with its strategies to expand wings beyond East Africa and Africa.

POSITION: SYSTEMS SUPPORT ANALYST (3 POSTS)
REPORTS TO: LEAD OFFICER DISTRIBUTION AND SYSTEM SUPPORT
DUTY STATION: DAR ES SALAAM

ROLE PURPOSE STATEMENT
Provide functional level support for inventory and reservations systems in order to ensure optimal operations. Also to manage user account and office profiles

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES/RESPONSIBILITIES
•Upload and update network schedules without errors to ensure accurate display at all times. Perform periodic audits to check parity of information between GDS and ARS
•Create and maintain all necessary reference tables to ensure accurate system set-up to deliver an efficient and optimized reservation process.

•Creation of time initiated packages which control shooting of PNLs to DCS and Catering Lists (PBC) to the Catering Department.
•Coordinating with Kale to make sure that BIDT reports are delivered in time
•Ensure all City Pairs necessary to maximize the PW network are set up in the system
•Create and maintain Pseudo Cities for PW offices for effective communication and access.
•Serve as a help desk for functional queries on RM, Reservations, Revenue Integrity and GDS systems ensuring resolution of cases within the stipulated SLAs
•Handle and resolve day to day help desk queries related to inventory discrepancies so as to ensure the integrity/accuracy of the information in the GDSs.
•Verify system generated errors and adjust business rules to resolve or escalate to vendors for resolution as appropriate
•Design training curriculum for CRS functions and use the same for training of new staff
•Monitor and Analyze GDS costs to identify areas of wastage for corrective action
•Provide reports on GDS activity and recommend strategies that can optimize distribution
•Generate defined periodic reports for management information
•Analyze GDS/ARS invoices to ensure billing accuracy
•Implement and maintain Business Rules as defined for all systems
•Implement defined system access securities and carry out emergency lock as defined
•Participate in project teams as assigned from time to time

PERFORMANCE INDICATORS
•Quantity and Magnitude of discrepancies between “what should be” and “what is” in the ARS/GDS
•Progressively growing network of City Pairs covering ALL potential markets

•Correct system prioritisation of PW flights.
•Queries resolution time compared to defined SLAs
•Nil incidents of Security Breaches
•Timely production of defined periodic reports
•Year on Year relative reduction in abusive CRS/GDS costs
•Quantity and Magnitude of Business Rule Errors occurring in the systems

Knowledge, Skills, Experience
•University degree with 4 years experience in System Support or Revenue Management or Tertiary level diploma with 6 years airline experience in reservations and ticketing at Supervisory level.

•Excellent knowledge of Precision Air product

POSITION: SYSTEM ADMINISTRATOR (1 POST)
REPORTS TO: INFORMATION SYSTEMS OPERATIONS MANAGER
DUTY STATION: DAR ES SALAAM

ROLE PURPOSE STATEMENT:
To configure support, monitor and manage Precision Air’s Information Systems ensuring that the systems are available and optimized at all times

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES/RESPONSBILITIES
•Maintain the technical documentation, software and licenses in the library.
•Ensure data backup’s media are loaded and retrieved from application servers.
•Capacity planning for systems under the administrator’s responsibility.
•Monitor and file backup/restore logs and take necessary remedial action to ensure integrity.
•Maintain Data centre environmental conditions as per defined standards and take corrective action.
•Secure (seal) backups tapes and ensure they are transported safely to and from offsite storage.
•Carry on second level security administration for both Software and IT-Related hardware in the company.
•Carry out second level IS support and administrative tasks as necessary to enable the IS Operations users carry out their duties effectively.
•Perform day-to-day maintenance and support of business applications systems and networks at all levels as may become necessary
•Provide technical assistance, support and advice to users.
•Provide second level Support of organization’s LAN and VPN, Internet and Intranet systems.
•Maintain network hardware and software, analyze problems and monitor network performance.
•Any other duties as may be assigned by the Supervisor

PERFORMANCE INDICATORS:
•Level of availability of Systems links/services within set standards to support the business
•Timely resolution of services faults within agreed SLAs
•Easily accessible and understandable documentation of all systems

•At least Bachelors’ Degree/Advanced Diploma in Information Technology.
•Professional qualifications Microsoft Certified Professional is desirable.
•Good knowledge of airline communications technology, IATA system processes and standards will be an advantage.
•At least 2 years working experience in ICT Support

POSITION: RESEVATIONS AND TICKETING AGENT (2 POSTS)
REPORTS TO: INDOOR SALES SUPERVISOR
DUTY STATION: DAR ES SALAAM/KILIMANJARO

ROLE PURPOSE
To provide efficient and effective customer focused Passenger Ticket Sales & Reservation

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES / RESPONSIBILITIES
•Make ticket reservations, confirmations, reconfirmations and seat selection for clients on PW flights in compliance with the carrier policies, procedures and customer expectations.
•To give fare quotes to all PW clients including group quotations and bookings.
•To ensure daily sales reports and sales dispatches are submitted in accordance to company procedures
•Give clients flight details and information
•Handle telephone & email enquiries as regards travel information.
•To protect and enhance revenue collection to meet carriers expectations
•To effectively communicate relevant aspects of customer service internally and externally to meet customer expectations
•Carries out all duties which may reasonably be requested and which are not includes in the job description
•Any other duties as may be assigned by your supervisor
