Purpose of Job
To provide administrative and financial support to the Peacekeeping English Project Manager.
Context and Environment
This post is one of the project co-ordinators posts at the British Council in Ethiopia. It requires generic organisational skills to implement the Peacekeeping English Project’s (PEP) activities and events. The PEP started is funded by the United Kingdom government and works with the Ethiopian Ministry of National Defence (EMOND) to develop a sustainable system of English language training for EMOND’s peacekeeping activities. The PEP operates from the British Council office in Addis Ababa, and has a team of four – the manager, the teacher trainer (both UK appointed), the co-ordinator and a driver.
