SENIOR ENGINEERS (Projects) - NATIONAL HOUSING CORPORATION

National Housing Corporation is seeking to recruit well- motivated and suitably qualified candidates to fill the following
vacant positions:

(10) SENIOR ENGINEERS (Projects) - (ReF.No.SEP/nhc/4)
The Senior Engineer reports to the Construction Manager and has specific duties as herein under:
Specific duties include:
„h Supervise Construction projects.
„h Ensure quality of workmanship for construction works.
„h Monitor cost and time in Construction Projects.
„h Monitor risk elements in Construction Projects.
„h Conduct tests on building materials and components.
„h Assist in the preparation of long and short term plans.
„h Participate in preparation of project budgets.
„h Conduct/attend site meetings.
„h Participate in the preparation of annual plans and budgets of the Directorate.
„h Supervise repair and maintenance of buildings project and equipments
„h Any other duties as and when assigned by the Construction Manager
Qualifications and experience:
The applicants should possess at least a first Degree in Civil/Environmental (or equivalent) Engineering with a
minimum 5 years experience in construction together with managing construction projects. He/She must be
registered with the ERB. He/She should have an extensive knowledge and experience in construction supervision,
designing, costing and estimating of works. In additional, he/she should also have substantial experience on large
scale developments. He/She must have IT skills including experience on design, scheduling and project
management software.
